On May 26th the Colorado Prime Timers held their second very successful Beer Bust at The Trade bar. The beer busts are one of our most successful fundraisers during the year. It was very profitable. The attendees were very generous and we raised $501.00 in total. The breakdown was $246.00 worth of generous tips and a sale of $255.00 in beer cups. Not bad for four hours work! Our next outing at The Trade for our third beer bust will be on the Labor Day Weekend, September 1st. This is really a great way to raise money for your chapter and at the same time, have lots of fun doing it.

Sunday afternoon's field trip to the 911 Call Center was a fascinating learning experience. Seventeen of us made the trek downtown, pushed the various buttons to let ourselves in, saw one of our members, David, watching for us in the parking lot, and then enjoyed immensely the presentation in the lounge.

Two Prime Timers clubs met for a brief visit, sightseeing, and of course lunch, on June 11, 2018, in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

The Prime Timers Nanaimo Club organized a group of 7 men with 5 cars to transport the Vancouver Prime Timers group of 18 men to a local restaurant for lunch and afterwards to tour several communities including Ladysmith and Chemainus. The visit to Vancouver Island's Nanaimo area was brief but packed with sight-seeing drives and explanations provided by our gracious hosts, the Prime Timers Club of Nanaimo.
