Terry Terrell passed away on February 29, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born November 13, 1937 in Wasco, California and grew up in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He has lived in Phoenix since 1973.

Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his son, Keith Terrell of Phoenix; his brother, Robert Terrell of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his family and friends (David Islas of Montreal, Dr. James Wilcox of Austin, Texas, David Geis of Phoenix, and Larry Scoby of Phoenix). A private internment of ashes service will be scheduled at a future date.

Terry did not have a partner, but was loved by many. Terry joined the Prime Timers of Phoenix a few years ago and became the Activities Director shortly thereafter. The activities had never been so well organized and that was due to Terry's attention to detail. Terry left very big shoes to fill as Activities Director of the PTOP board of directors. Terry was elected to the Worldwide Board at the last Worldwide Convention in Las Vegas last October. He resigned his position on the Board in January due to his illness.

Terry had sold his condo and moved into an assisted living apartment about two months ago. He was moved to a hospice center and passed about a week later. Terry was a very private person and there were very few who knew how ill he really was. He will be missed by all. A donation has been made in memory of Terry Terrell to the Woody Baldwin fund for Prime Timers Worldwide.
