Prime Timers of Myrtle Beach (PTMB) holds its monthly meeting the first Tuesday of each month at 7 PM to conduct chapter business, with refreshments afterwards provided by members.  Other regular monthly events include a dine out at a local restaurant on the second Wednesday and a social gathering on the fourth Wednesday.

Activities this quarter included dinner at Horst Gast House, P F Chang’s, and Fiesta del Burro Loco; picnics at the 82nd Ave North entrance to the beach in Myrtle Beach and at Vereen Gardens on the Intracostal Waterway in Little River SC; and a tour of the Seacoast Artists Guild Gallery where a PTMB member serves on the Board and displays his work.

Our annual picnic at Myrtle Beach State Park was held on September 7.  Hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, delicious sides, and various desserts were overindulged in by all.  Corn Hole and Ladder Golf were a challenge for many and fun for all.  Michael B of the Tri-State Prime Timers made PTMB shirts for members.  Thanks Michael.

PTMB is one of only two PTWW chapters in South Carolina, the other being the newly formed Columbia chapter.  We invite anyone in South Carolina or southeastern North Carolina and those traveling in the area to join us for any activity, or contact us and we can meet for a meal or cup of coffee.
